At the heart of it all, I just always liked sitting down with a guitar and singing a good song. That’s what Man Atlas is all about really, it’s about the songs, about the lyrics and that doesn’t always need much more frippery around it. 🎸
It was great working with Giuliano Sulzberger on this project, he’s got a such a natural and creative approach to recording, and he knows when to do what at the right time and moment. Thank you! 😘

I've seen so many great, inspiring and out of this world musicians play there and it means a great deal to me that I can play there this year with a fantastic band backing me up! Well I'm just sitting in my warm kitchen sending out some emails, spreading the word that I'll be supporting Denison Witmer next Saturday Nov. 14 and I'll have Rykka come sing my tunes with me. I have been listening to his music for quite some time. I discovered back in 2005 after he released his amazing album Are You A Dreamer (Militia Records). He's been an inspiration for quite a few songwriters such as Sufjan Stevens or William Fitzimmons. It's unbelievable that I haven't actually even seen him live yet. So it's a double anticipation for me. The show will take place at Pillow Song Loft in Stans which has been founded by Sarah Bowman & Rene Coal Burrell. Get your tickets for next Saturday HERE

So pleased and happy! Today I recorded some vocals with Paul Ubana Jones. We are working on a acoustic version of my bluesy song Jump & Scream! That is a great honor for me. I have admired this musician and person for a long time now. We met way back, maybe 15 years ago in New Zealand and I always loved his passion in music, a wonderful singer and most amazing guitar player. Check him out live if you can. It's a blast.
